Pet care is intentionally built into my daily routine, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care without overextending my schedule. As an event operations professional, I’m very organized and plan my schedule in advance, which translates into reliable, well-structured care for every booking. I primarily offer boarding in my home, where dogs are integrated into a balanced environment throughout the day. I plan my schedule to ensure regular potty breaks, feeding times, and dedicated attention, while maintaining a predictable routine that helps dogs feel comfortable and settled. For drop-in visits, I work within set morning, midday, and evening time windows and limit the number of visits I take on each day to ensure I can provide reliable, on-time care without rushing between appointments.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, consistency, and a calm environment are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a supervised setting where dogs can settle in comfortably without being overwhelmed. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I care for at one time so each dog receives proper attention and supervision. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any specific needs, and I do my best to maintain that routine during their stay. Dogs are always monitored in a safe environment, and I prioritize clear communication with owners throughout the booking. I do prefer dogs that are crate trained, as this helps maintain a safe and structured environment when needed. For safety, all dogs are walked on leash. Dogs are welcome on furniture, but not on beds. For drop-in visits, I follow all care instructions closely and ensure pets are safe, secure, and comfortable before leaving the home. I also make sure doors, gates, and feeding areas are properly managed to maintain a safe environment at all times.

Information Sierra R. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, I like to learn more about your dog’s routine, temperament, and any specific needs to make sure it’s a good fit for my home. This includes feeding schedule, potty routine, energy level, and how they typically behave in a new environment. I’m happy to schedule a meet and greet when needed to ensure a good fit before confirming a booking. For boarding, it’s especially helpful to know if your dog is crate trained, how they do when left alone for short periods, and how they interact with other dogs and new people. I also like to know about any behavioral concerns, anxiety, or tendencies such as excessive barking, chewing, or accidents indoors. I do prefer dogs that are crate trained, as crates are used when I am not home to help maintain a safe environment. For safety, all dogs are walked on leash. For drop-in visits, I ask that clear instructions are provided for home access, feeding, medications (if applicable), and any safety considerations. The more detail you can share, the better I can provide a safe and comfortable experience for your pet.
A typical day
Each day varies depending on the dog, but I keep a consistent routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Mornings typically start with a potty break and feeding, followed by time for dogs to relax and adjust to the environment. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, attention, and activity based on each dog’s energy level. Some dogs enjoy walks and light play, while others prefer to relax and stay close. I adjust throughout the day to make sure each dog is comfortable without becoming overwhelmed. Evenings are more relaxed, with another potty break, feeding if needed, and time to wind down for the night. My focus is making sure each dog feels secure, cared for, and able to settle into a routine that works for them while they’re away from home. I also provide updates during each stay so you can feel comfortable knowing how your dog is doing.

Pet care experience
I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, along with several years of hands-on experience through Rover. I grew up with poodles and poodle mixes, which gave me an early understanding of different temperaments and care needs. I primarily offer dog boarding in a calm, structured home environment and intentionally keep my schedule manageable so each dog receives consistent attention and care. I’m comfortable with both puppies and adult dogs and prioritize safety, routine, and clear communication with owners. I take time to understand each dog’s needs so they feel secure while you’re away. For safety reasons, I typically work with dogs under 65 lbs, allowing me to maintain full control during walks and handling. Drop-in visits are available on a limited basis depending on my schedule. My goal is to provide reliable, thoughtful care so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands.
Reviews

Sierra took great care of my doggies while I went on a trip. She was accommodating and had great communication. We were conversing when I went to pick up the boys and the way they included her in their play told me everything I needed to know. This was my first experience with boarding outside of the family and I could not have had a better one.

Sierra was wonderful! Responsive, send pics during the stay and took great care of GreenBean while we were in Atlanta!

Nice and great host for my dog! Responsive and overall lovely experience.

This is my baby’s 2nd stay with Sierra. With the way my dog hates strangers, I was so surprised to see hi snuggled up in her blankets, snoring, yawning, and being xtra comfy over there! And I love that her neighborhood has a pretty big dog park! If I can book with Sierra every time I vacation, I will!
