Growing up in the country, I have grown up with all sorts of animals (dogs, cat, rabbit, cows, longhorns). However, dogs have been the animal with me throughout my entire life. We got our first family dog when I was 6 and have had 3-10 dogs at a time since then! Needless to say, I'm definitely a dog person. I have experience feeding, walking, and washing dogs, and can do some basic self-taught training (sitting, down, shake). I also have house-sat and pet-sit for some family friends' and my friends' parents on several occasions. My house is full of animal love. I have a 3-year-old Plott hound mix (named Nova), a 4-year-old German Shepard (named Goose), and a 8 month old cat (named Ary). They all have their own special quirks, but are so funny and love running and playing! Nova is very food motivated and loves to run in circles and play in water, Goose is very toy motivated and could play frisbee for hours without a break if we let him, and Ary is the definition of a "lap cat" but loves being our pest control when she see an bug.
