I've had pets of all kinds my whole life, including dogs of all sizes. I have experience training dogs of all ages and backgrounds, including multiple puppies and several rescue dogs. I managed a high volume commercial dog boarding facility for 4 years and have had upwards of 80 dogs in my care at once. This experience led me to understand dog body language very well, how to make friends with dogs that aren't so eager (while still respecting boundaries and comfort levels), and how to ensure each dog gets the individualized care they need. Managing the facility also gave me extensive experience caring for dogs of all kinds, including elderly, special needs, high energy, etc. I have years of experience administering all types of medications and catering to specific schedules. Despite everything I learned at the boarding facility, my biggest takeaway was how much more beneficial small scale boarding and home settings are for dogs when they are away from their own families.

So great with our two boys.
Our pup had a great time with Sierra! We boarded her for 6 nights, and Sierra was great with keeping up with some special diet requirements. She also has a large fenced outdoor area the dogs can play in, Mocha seemed very happy when we picked her up. Would definitely book again!
Sierra was great and our pups had a great time! We had limited communication due to us being out of the country but when we did connect she was very responsive. She was very flexible with pick up and drop off and worked with our anxious pup to make him feel comfortable. She has a great fenced in yard which our dogs loved to roam and play. We will be using Sierra again!

Sierra is very confident in handling dogs with different personalities and high energy dogs. She is one of the few people who could walk both my dogs at the same time. Very grateful for her fast response and attentiveness.
Did a wonderful job with my dogs. Would definitely recommend her to anyone. She was confident and able to handle my dog who is recovering from surgery.

Schedule
I'm available during the week, including during "normal" working hours, as well as weekends and holidays. Very flexible with my scheduling, including off-hours care if needed. I spend most of my free time with my own dog hiking, walking, playing at the lake or park, and training.

A typical day
I enjoy hiking, sniffy walks where we spend time taking in the smells, structured walks where we work on leash manners, playing in the backyard or park, swimming at the lake, splashing in the stream, a good game of tug, or just snuggling on the couch. Whatever your dog prefers is what I prefer.
