I have had dogs and loved them my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers and St Benards so the big ones definitely have my heart. I currently have two Border Collie X Australian Shepherd mixes that are incredibly friendly and smart. I started my pet professional career out in 2012 as a kennel technician at the Clinton Humane Society. I have worked for two different vet clinics as a vet technician giving medications, doing ivs, doing wound care, and being apart of surgery staff. I do some special handling dog training for anxious and semi aggressive dogs. My passion for special handling dogs started when I trained as a pet stylist. I got hands on experience helping stressed dogs relax and make situations better for them. I currently work in the Quad Cities as a pet stylist, working with both dogs and cats. I am very familiar and comfortable working with all kinds of animals be it furry, scaley or feathery. I do animal care for individual animals and also for hobby farms with chickens, ducks, goats, llamas and sheep. I am a very particular person when it comes to my own animals' care. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable.

Everything went as expected great services
Sierra came over before our booking, was on time and professional. We had to cancel the day before, due to illness, so didn’t have the experience of her staying in the home, but would 100% feel comfortable calling on her the next time we need a pet-sitter.

Schedule
Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.
Pets
A typical day
I do a daily morning walk, and lots of playing in the yard. I have a monthly subscription to 3 dog toy boxes so the toys are limitless. I have treat puzzles. I spend a lot of time with them. I have cat trees, grow cat grass and also an abundance of cat toys as well in the cat room.
