Hi, my name is Sierra! I have about 3 years of experience on Rover, and I love what I do! I have experience with senior pets, disabled pets, kittens, puppies, strays, and feral animals. I can administer oral medication, provide stays longer than one week, frequent drop-ins, and walks! I’ve had dogs nearly my whole life and currently care for a Shiba Husky mix named Nala! Nala is what you could call a unique dog. My family rescued Nala when she was just 2 years old. We suspect she had a rough life before coming to us. Nala has behavioral issues you might see in your own dog! She is extremely reactive with new people & other animals, she has a bite history, food aggression, and resource guarding issues. Nala is very protective and often shows signs of distrust in people. I’ve had people reach out with concerns that their pet couldn’t have a pet sitter due to similar issues. I am here to reassure you! These behaviors that dogs like Nala display are often due to fear and anxiety. Animals are not scary to me, even after being bitten. I think a key part of being a pet sitter is having understanding and empathy with animals. I have a certificate in Dog Training Foundations at the Karen Pryor Academy and I am currently working on a Shelter Enrichment program. I enjoy working with pets for their happiness. Seeing them run to the door when I come in and beg for love is the best feeling for everyone! I’m here to provide stable care and ensure your pet is happy and healthy ❤️

In my own home, I have a large fence and one medium sized dog. I understand the struggles of a highly energetic dog, and their need for human interaction! I believe all animals should have a balance of outside and inside time that keeps them safe and happy.
Notes et avis
I had really enjoyed having Sierra watching my cats while I was gone. I will definitely use her again and refer to people. I know taking care of our pets is like having someone babysit our kids that you trust and believing they are being care for.
Sierra was INCREDIBLE with our two boy cats while we are away. She was very responsive, very considerate, and we could tell the cats felt very safe with her. She is the best!
Sierra is great. Flexible with the weather and plans. Rally loves spending time with her and I appreciate her thoroughness.

Sierra and my cat became fast friends! My kitty trusts her so much. My cat is fairly selective with her love, and gave Sierra so much trust, snuggles, and purrs. She’s an excellent communicator with me as well.

Dates de la garde
I have plenty of time to watch your animals! I’d be more than happy to watch them the entire day. Pets are my whole world. I am also available on the weekends and most weekdays!
