I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I have two dogs of my own who live back home with my family, a 14 year old Shih Tzu and 6 year old Cocker Spaniel/Golden mix, so I have lots of firsthand experience caring for dogs. However, there are currently no pets in the home where I provide boarding, so your dog will not be sharing the home with my personal pets! I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, feeding schedules, walks, medications, and giving dogs plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away.

Schedule
I’m home pretty often between work and school and usually never leave for more than about three hours at a time during the week. On the weekends, I’m home all day. I live with 2 of my lifelong friends and my boyfriend, so between the four of us someone is always here to love on your pup! I’m especially interested in boarding dogs in my home and making sure they feel comfortable and included while their family is away.

Safety, trust & environment
I want every dog staying with me to feel safe and at home. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, potty, medication, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. I’m home frequently, so they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I also have a dog park right next to my home, which makes it easy to get outside for potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. The dog park is typically empty so I consider it my “yard” but if your dog isn’t friendly we’ll be sure to just go for walks!
A typical day
A typical day would include lots of attention, walks, playtime, and time outside. I have a dog park right by my home, and I also love taking dogs on outings to dog-friendly parks and places when appropriate. I think physical exercise and mental stimulation are both really important, so I like giving dogs opportunities to explore, socialize, play, and then relax at home.

- Before boarding your dog, I’d love to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, energy level, medications, allergies, and anything that makes them nervous or uncomfortable. Since I enjoy walks, dog parks, and dog-friendly outings, I’d also like to know how they behave around other dogs, new people, car rides, and busy environments. I’m always happy to adjust activities based on what your dog is comfortable with.
