Sidney took great care of my dog and gave frequent updates. They have an adorable dog to keep yours company, too. Highly recommended, will book again!

Sidney was an awesome sitter for my big pittie pup! Super friendly, easy to communicate with and someone who you can tell really loves animals. Sidney's communication was great with me throughout my dog's stay. My dog was happy as can be when I dropped her off and I'm sure would have love to stay longer! Thank you so much Sidney and will definitely be using this Rover sitter in the future!

Sidney is great with Ruthie. She comes home tired and happy. We had to modify our booking and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

BEWARE!!! We booked Sidney for a stay for a long weekend because of his stellar reviews. I texted Sidney a half hour before the booking time to tell him we were on our way. No response. Left anyway and arrived at his location. Sketchy neighborhood. Sign on door saying NOT to knock or ring the doorbell, but to text and call. Really????? I did both several times. No response. Finally rang the doorbell and knocked. No response. Three hours later after scrambling to find a place for our dog I finally got a text saying sorry and he put the wrong dates on his calendar. I now have to deal with Rover to get my money refunded because it was not cancelled on his end.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client's home, it is important to ensure the pet's safety, comfort, and well-being. This includes providing regular exercise, feeding, and grooming; providing companionship; and providing basic training and obedience. It is also important to ensure that the pet is up-to-date with its vaccinations and to monitor the pet for signs of illness or distress. Additionally, it is important to clean up after the pet, to keep the home clean and free of pet-related odors, and to obey the pet owner's instructions for care.

Pets

A typical day

I usually like to take the dogs I watch on walks around the neighborhood or explore nearby trails. I always make sure to bring plenty of toys and treats to keep them engaged in interactive play which can be just as tiring as a walk.

Knowing the age of a dog can help indicate the maturity level, energy level, and the potential for training. The health history of a dog can be helpful in understanding any potential health risks or needs. Additionally, knowing the temperament of a dog and their level of training is important.
