I have worked as a vet assistant at a clinic and have plenty of experience and knowledge in proper animal care. I am very professional and will make sure you’re loved one/s are well taken care of. I’ve been dog and cat sitting for 7 years for friends and family and felt it’s time to expand my care through Rover! I have excellent communication as well and will keep you updated with lots of pictures<3 ⬇️ Being a vet assistant was emotionally overwhelming when helping pets cross rainbow bridge so I decided to work from home and have a flexible schedule to care for your furry loved ones! It genuinely makes my soul happy to care for all animals and I enjoy providing dependable, safe, personalized service. ⬇️ I am really active and enjoy taking dogs out for walks and always keep safety in mind. I understand animal behavior and body language and will make sure your loved one/s are safe and kept from hazards like other dogs that may not be friendly. As well as toxic plants, hazards objects, etc. ⬇️ Skills and experience: -knowledge of being a Veterinary Assistant/Tech -studied 3 years at Clemson studying psychology including animal psychology -keeps things clean and organized! I always tidy up around your pets space ⬇️ I would love to get to know everything about your pet/s and want to provide the best experience possible for you and them. Safety, trust & environment
Your pets safety is my priority! If In your home, I will follow your instructions and complete any task listed. I will make sure that any enclosures and fences are secured and locked before leaving. I will make sure the pets area is cleaned and sanitized. And make sure your home’s front door is locked and secure. I do everything the way I’d normally like someone else to treat my own home!

Sydney took great care of my two cats. She is kind, dedicated and patient. She managed to give meds to one of my cats (who is not the friendliest) with great care and gave some play time to my other cat. I loved how she provided a detailed summary for every visit. I’m so happy to have found Sydney and I for sure will hire her again.

Sidney was great! We booked last minute for an emergency and she was available. She responded quickly and we had a video chat to nail down the details. She asked the right questions, which showed us her professionalism. Our two dogs really took a liking to her. Sidney was wonderful and respectful of our house too. Went above and beyond to take care of them during the three drop-in visits. Sidney is highly recommended!!!

I am available through out the week to provide thoughtful and detail oriented care. My husband loves animals as well enjoys when we have boarding clients!
