I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. When I was 12 I started a little pet sitting business because I was determined to meet and care for any animal that I didn’t own. At 18 I was employed at a service dog training facility in Nipomo, CA and cared for as well as worked with up to 12 dogs at one time. I raised puppies from 2 months to 6 months for their program and helped get them ready for training as well. After that I found employment at a pet boarding establishment in Arroyo Grande, CA and worked there for 3 years while attending college. I have owned dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, fish, and snakes and enjoyed them all. I have a very active lifestyle and would love to take your pets on walks if that would be something they’d enjoy. I also live a few miles from a large, fenced-in dog park, and would take them on trips there if desired. I’m open to special requests and more!

I have known Sidney for 9 years, and 6 of those years I’ve witnessed her care for her dog Odin. He is always her top priority, well fed, well trained, and very loved at home. You can tell he is such a happy dog. I watched her care for him as a young puppy to his adulthood now and I’ve only ever seen her care deeply for him.
Sidney is definitely an animal lover. My dog always feels comfortable around her and gets excited to see her. I would have been completely at peace leaving my dog with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
Sidney watched my Dalmatian Blu, my little mutt Sprocket, and my two cats for me while I was on vacation for a week. I asked her to send me daily updates and she included photos with them! We all know it’s hard to leave our pets but she made me feel at peace, knowing my fur babies were enjoying themselves just as much as I was!
Sidney is a wonderful and absolutely amazing dog sitter! She is caring, reliable, and treated my dog like family. I received regular updates and felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in great hands. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed their time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom of one and am available all day every day. I take walks every morning and sometimes in the evenings and would love to bring your dog(s) with me!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in back yard that is mostly grass as well as some rocks. If your dog is a digger, the rocks surround the outer edges of the yards by the fence, so they’d be unable to escape! I have one 6 year-old Doodle who is vaccinated and is a retired service dog from the facility I used to work at. He is a neutered male and loves any sized dog. He would prefer the company actually! Your dog would be surrounded by love, both human and not. I can crate them if need be as well, or keep them separate from my dog as well.
Pets
A typical day
We’ll go on morning and evening walks to acquaint them with the neighborhood. Spend time at the local dog park. Use our doggy pool if they’re into water. Play fetch if they’re a ball loving dog. Spend time getting love and cuddles.
