Booked for a sit, not a drop in. Sitting involves staying overnight with the animals, that’s part of why it’s not a drop in. So, booked and did the meet and great and showed her the guest room and food and everything. Once the sit began, Sianna did come over. However, throughout the day she was not responsive to texts and I could not connect over the phone. This was concerning because she left the house that evening and was gone for hours with no response. My neighbor ended up coming over through the evening and stayed with the animals after 11:30 and still nothing from Sianna. Finally, she did respond to a text and her response implied she was at the home with the animals-which was not true. At that point, I didn’t feel like my girls were safe with her. Told her someone else was there and I’d hire a new sitter, even though I was across the country at this point. Later that night, at 2:45 am, she comes to the home, after I’ve told her there is someone present and I’ve contacted Rover to hire a new sitter. She was told to leave and did not disclose my prior communication telling her the sit was over. Not sure what the issue was, but not safe. Not someone I would feel safe watching my animals.
