I work from home most days and sometimes go into the office. I love cats and they are my life! Usually every spare minute involves cats, if not looking after someone's cat, then volunteering for a cat charity.

I am completely reliable and trustworthy and have many clients you can speak to for a reference. I do long visits and adapt my care depending on the cat's needs. I have completed cat welfare courses and am a trained fosterer for a cat charity.

I am experienced and knowledgeable in cat welfare due to owning a cat for 6 years and my volunteer work with a cat charity where I have completed numerous courses. I request all cats in my care be flea and worm treated in advance of the visit starting. I am happy to apply spot on treatments if this is due when you are away (those prescribed by the vet are most effective). I ask this because of the responsibility to all cats in my care and I like to minimise the risk of fleas at every opportunity. I can always provide information about this if needed as well as advice and instruction. I have access to other experienced cat carers and vets. I truly care about each cat - I will monitor their wees and poos to check they are going regularly as well as looking at any sick to ensure there are no obvious issues.

I vary depending on the cat - if they are super needy and love cuddles I will spend more time cuddling them if they are comfortable to do so. I will always try different playing techniques with each cat to try and keep them stimulated. I move their toys and things around so things are different for them. I take care of their every need! Water, food, play, cuddles, brushing, cleaning, company you name it. I'm especially good with shy and scared cats.

I understand I'm not the cheapest sitter on the app but I do really long visits and really care for the cats! Whatever the cat needs (cuddles, treats, litter change, clean up, playtime) I have experience using ear cream but prefer not to do injections as these are difficult alone. I have a car so can do emergency vet trips or ones in the daytime if you're unavailable. My visit lengths depend on the cats and their needs, as well as my schedule that day. Visit durations are a minimum of 20 minutes but usually around an hour - it depends on the cat. If the cat is very shy and scared around visitors I will see what is best for the cat on that occasion. I have successfully gone from looking after a shy and scared cat who hissed and didn't want to be near me, to getting strokes and eating out of my hand within a week using my cat behaviour knowledge and skills. Typical visits for friendly cats are usually an hour or so. Depending on my diary, what the cat needs and owner preference, I may work from the owner's house for a few hours to make sure the cat gets the attention they need (this is usually for indoor cats or those that are used to having an owner next to them 24/7). All of this can be discussed and agreed depending on you and your furbaby!

We had a great experience with Sian and would not hesitate to use her again. She was reliable, polite and kept us informed throughout the weekend she looked after Mia. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos. It was really reassuring to see Mia happy and relaxed whilst we were away, and playing with new toys that Sian brought round. We found Sian to be a caring and thoughtful cat sitter.
It was our first time using such a service and Sian exceeded our expectations. She not only fed, watered and cleared up after our elderly cat Polly, she spent quality time with her and they became firm friends. Sian's 'super nanny' visits included feedback on Polly's general health and she made important changes to her diet and very generously brought along new toys, fur brushes and the like. We had had issues with Polly pooping in inappropriate places and Sian solved it with dietary adjustments and a new litter tray regime. We are so grateful for her presence in Polly's life while we were away and we wouldn't hesitate to call on her expertise again. On a personal level Sian is warm, friendly and passionate about the felines of this world. Highly recommended!
Sian was an excellent cat sitter for my 2 girls! Communication was great, she was totally reliable and looked after them as if they were her own. I received lots of updates with photos and videos and I know they had a lovely time with her. I would definitely book Sian again and highly recommend her to others.
