Thinking of the animal first!
I have always been an animal lover, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to pay close attention to animal behavior to understand what they need in the moment. I am always thinking of if an animal is well cared for and try to fulfill what they need in the moment. When on walks I often remind myself that it is THEIR walk, so if they want to linger a littler longer or say hi to another dog, I give them the time that they want while outside of the house. With cats, I feel them out to see what makes them the most comfortable. Cats can vary dramatically in how they want to be cared for, so I try my best to be attentive to what they want. I am also a very affectionate to animals and give them lots of love. I’ve personally cared for many animals in the past, having over 16 years of experience.

I am unable to house other animals at the moment, as my roommate has a cat that isn’t used to other animals. But, at your home I can follow whatever guidelines you may set for me. I guarantee that your pet will be well cared for.

Siaira was exceptional! We’ve always had the same person stay with Ellie when we go out of town but they weren’t available this time so we turned to Rover and found Siaira. Her perfect 5 star rating is no accident — she is clearly an animal lover and was attentive to Ellie and communicative with us. We were a bit nervous leaving with her a new person, but it was clear immediately from all of the photos Siaira sent how happy Ellie was with her. Would absolutely use her again!
Siaira was super reliable and communicated with us throughout her sits. She took great care of our cats and sent amazing updates and pictures to keep us updated. Highly recommend booking her!

Siaira was thorough in her care and updates, responsive, considerate of my living space (including proactively asking about house rules, etc), and overall let me breathe easy while traveling for a few days away from my little one. Will book her again if she's up for it!

Schedule
My schedule is pretty flexible, so I can dedicate as much or as little time as you need. Additionally, I work in restaurants during some evenings. That typically leaves my morning and afternoons completely open, and I can also check in early evenings and late evenings. With housesitting, l always try to spend as much time as I can with your companions and communicate my schedule in advance.
