I’ve been around animals since I was 3 years old, and caring for them has always been my passion! I currently have one dog, Mavis, and three cats. Mavis is 1 year old, very sweet, and loves other dogs. We go to the dog park every day, so I’d be happy to include your pup if they enjoy it too! I recently lost my 11-year-old dog to cancer, so I have personal experience caring for a senior pet and administering medications. I’m comfortable giving medications as needed and providing extra patience and care to senior or special-needs pets. Whether your pet is staying in my home, I’m caring for them in your home, or we’re going for a walk, my goal is to keep them happy, safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. My three cats are very relaxed and can be separated if needed. They love meeting new animals, especially kittens. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who prefer their own space or need to be kept separate from other animals. Animals are truly my passion, and I want every pet I care for to feel loved and like family. 🐾

Shylow watched both of my parents’ dogs while we went on vacation to the Dominican Republic. We were gone for 7 days, and our pups had such a great time with her! One is a shy Goldendoodle, while the other is a super energetic Aussiedoodle, and Shylow did an amazing job making sure they were both comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. Throughout the week, we received lots of pictures and updates of the pups playing, relaxing on the couch, and even sleeping on the bed. She also took them to the dog park every day, where they got to run around, socialize with other dogs, and even cool off in the pool. It was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable they were while we were away. We would definitely trust Shylow with our pups again!

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I currently have three cats and my dog, so I’m used to having a consistent routine with feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and plenty of attention. I don’t currently work outside the home, so I’m home most of the time and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day and accommodate different feeding, walking, medication, and care routines. Mavis and I also go to the dog park every day. Because I’m home so often, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to be there for pets who need extra company, frequent potty breaks, or additional care. 🐾

I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets have a safe, clean, and welcoming environment with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and affection. I can also keep visiting pets separated from my cats or dog if they aren’t comfortable around other animals. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, potty, and bedtime routines. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe, happy, and being well cared for. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I treat every pet like family. 🐾

A typical day
My typical day is very flexible because I’m home most of the time, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I like to keep a consistent routine with regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and lots of cuddles and attention. For fun, I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, running around the dog park, and doing interactive games that keep them mentally and physically stimulated. I also enjoy giving pets plenty of one-on-one attention, whether that’s playing with toys, practicing simple commands and tricks, or simply relaxing and cuddling together. I’m happy to adjust activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and comfort level so they have a fun, safe, and comfortable time while they’re with me.

- Before caring for a pet, I’d love to know about their personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special care they require. It’s also important to know about any medications, allergies, health concerns, fears, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of. I’d like to know how they get along with other dogs, cats, children, and new people, as well as what they enjoy doing and what makes them comfortable. Knowing their normal routine, favorite toys or activities, and any house rules helps me keep their day as consistent and stress-free as possible while giving them lots of love and attention.
