Hello! My name is Shylah and I am a former dog groomer now turned a work-from-home Medical Coder! I was in the doggy industry for around 15 years. I started in 2008 learning how to groom pets and did that full-time for 8 years! I have worked at big pet retailers, vet clinics, and private boarding facilities. I have experience with all breeds and love meeting new pets! I have been caring for pets since I can remember. I absolutely adore dogs and will treat your kiddo like they are my own! I own my home and although I don't have a fenced in yard, I do work from home every day during the week and have plenty of time to walk your pup around whenever they need! I also offer grooming for dogs 20 pounds or smaller for an extra fee. I have two dogs, Daisy and Dixon. Daisy is a Maltese/Yorkie mix and Dixon is a Dachshund/Cavalier King Charles mix. Both are good with other dogs, so your pup would need to also be good with other pups! I'm super excited to meet you and your four-legged kid!

Shylah is AMAZING! My dog has separation anxiety and won’t crate train so we have started to need a daily sitter, Shylah has been very flexible with timing and giving my dog love and making my life way easier! Highly recommend!
This was Moose’s second time doing daycare here and he seems so comfortable and happy!! Great communication during his stay, even during a shorter period of time, which is always so appreciated.
Shylah was amazing!! My dog loved staying with her and immediately took a nap as soon as we got home!! I also loved getting updates about how she was doing!

Schedule
I work from home, so I am available all day every day to care for your pet! Sometimes I do go to Des Moines to visit family so I wouldn't be available for boarding or daycare, but I will know ahead of time if that arises unless there is an unexpected emergency. Then I will let you know ASAP!

Safety, trust & environment
All dogs are welcome on the bed and any furniture. I will leash your pet when we go out to make sure they are secure. I can also administer any meds your pet may need!

We can go for walks at the park that I live next door to. We could also go to the dog park that is down the way from me!
