Hello! 👋 Thank you for visiting my profile! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—from horses and dogs to cats, ferrets, and just about everything in between. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and over the years I’ve been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors to care for their beloved pets. I’d love the opportunity to care for yours!

Safety, trust & environment
We primarily live in Florida but spend part of the summer at our home in Massachusetts. My calendar is always kept up to date, so you can book with confidence. Your dog will be welcomed into our home as part of the family. We have a fully fenced 6-foot privacy yard for safe outdoor play, and our two friendly resident dogs enjoy making new canine friends. For everyone’s safety, I kindly ask that all pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

We are so happy we found Shyla through Rover. From the first time communicating with her, our meet & greet, dropping our two dogs off with her and then upon returning from our trip to pick up our dogs, Shyla was just a terrific host for our pups. She communicated quickly, answered any questions we had quickly and provided a safe and happy home for our dogs to enjoy their own “vacation” while we went on a family trip. We loved the joy we could see on our dogs faces on all the pictures she sent us while away. They had a blast! It’s evident Shyla loves not only her own dogs but caring for other dogs like they are her own. Our pups were in amazing hands and received lots of love and fantastic care while we were away. We highly recommend Shyla for your doggy needs. We will most definitely use Shyla again and appreciate the comfort she provided us in knowing our pups would be in a loving home while we were away. Cherry had a great time and was well taken care of! She is a very skittish dog and was nervous when she arrived, but was calm and comfortable when she left. Also Shyla sent tons of pics to me during the board.
Shyla was wonderful and Jack had fun- she sent me pics throughout the day which I appreciated!!! It was a great experience and Jack will for sure be staying again -if she will have him. Thank you Shyla😊

The best! I have 2 older female labs that get stressed when in boarding. To the point of making themselves sick. Shyla was a godsend. Shyla treats the dogs as her own. The continuous picture updates were adorable and comforting. The come home, relaxed and brushed! I highly recommend! Will definitely be using her services again.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Kept us updated with lots of photos, and our pup had an absolute blast. Thank you!

I have a flexible, home-based schedule that allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and personalized care throughout your pet’s stay. I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel overwhelming, which is why I always recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure we’re a great fit.
