I have loved and cared for dogs for over 40 years. We have a large house, and now that our kids are off to college, there is a lot of room. I only take small to medium size dogs. Maximum of 40 lbs. Our own dog, Max, who is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has been with us for 13 years, and has recently passed away. Our home is suited for smaller dogs, as we allow them to play wherever they like. They are welcome to sleep wherever they are comfortable from our bedroom, to the sunroom to the basement. They are greeted promptly and warmly in the morning with whatever routine they may have. While we understand that an accident may happen, we only host dogs who are house trained. We have a very quiet neighborhood not far from Maplewood Park, and I will walk your dog 3-4 times a day. Our vet, is a 3 minute walk from our house (just in case) IMPORTANT: The first step is to send me a message via Rover about your dog(s), breed, size, age, and the dates of your planned reservation. I'm known for responding quickly. We can talk by phone first, or via Rover messaging, to set up a Meet and Greet if we think we're a good match. After the Meet and Greet, we'll set up your reservation if all goes well. I have been caring for dogs for over 30 years, and love every dog dearly. I treat all of our guest dogs the same way I treat Max, with love and care. I look forward to caring for your dog! Policy: If your dog arrives early in the morning for drop off and leaves late in the day/evening for pick up, there will be an additional charge added as a per Rover policy. Thank you for understanding. Please note that I REQUIRE a meet-n-greet for any first-time guest PRIOR to approving any stays. About my yard Our backyard is not fenced. We have 2 decks that are fenced, and I take the dogs to the nearby park. My experience administering medication I am able and willing to administer oral medication. Shuli is our go to sitter and never disappoints. We have been using her since our cockapoo Odyssey was a puppy. We most recently were on a long trip with extended family abroad over the holidays, and we are grateful that we could enjoy ourselves and be present for our elderly relatives knowing that Odyssey was being well cared for back home.

Schedule
I’m generally at home most of the time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays

All dogs are free on the ground level. per owner's request - i can have them sleep in crates. I take dogs on multiple walks per day in our neighborhood and sometimes to the nearby park
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a quiet neighborhood and there is a very nice park nearby. Your dog's sleeping arrangement the dogs usually sleep wherever they like around the house. Time I'll spend with your dog I am at home for most of the day. I walk the dogs at least 3 times a day.
