I am a college student at home on summer break so most of my days will be 100% free to show attention to the dogs. I will have ample time to play with and walk dogs.

I live in a safe gated community. My home has a large fenced backyard with plenty of grass to play on and a large amount of space within the home as well. I have one small dog, a maltipoo and she is friendly with other dogs. I feel like dogs are family and want to care for them as they are my own family. I am open to house drop in visits based on the time and to sit dogs in client houses, to feed, walk, and play with the dogs.

I want to make you and your dog feel as secure and comfortable as I can. So please let me know if they have anything they are not comfortable with, any potential triggers, and specific needs. I understand those concerns all too well as my own dog is also particularly about her needs. I also make it a priority to send updates and pictures of your dog for peace of mind.
A typical day
I will spend all my time attending to the dogs, making sure they feel comfortable. I love to play fetch with them outside in the grass and go on walks through the neighborhood in the mornings or evenings when it’s not so hot outside. After meals we have downtime for the dogs to relax and nap or have light enrichment like chew toys or treats.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have always loved spending time with them, whether they were my dog or my close friends' and family's dogs. I have a 2 years of experience volunteering at the SPCA in roseville, where I met dogs of all kind from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. There I trained dogs in common commands such as "sit", "lie down", "go to bed" and mostly spent time socializing with them so they would become used to human interaction. I have also taught my own dog a range of commands such as; "heel", "stay", "hand shake", etc. I am great at bathing and grooming dogs and have my own equipment to wash, dry and brush them thoroughly. I love to meet dogs of all size and personalities, whether they are on the shy or calm side or if they are social with more energy.

Shriya saved us after our Rover booking canceled on us last minute and I am so grateful. She is sweet and friendly and took amazing care of my dog. She sent me tons of pictures and updated me multiple times a day with how my pup was going. When I picked my dog up she looked healthy and happy. I will definitely be using Shriya again. She was amazing!
I have known Shriya ever since she was born. Right from her toddler years itself she has been great with dogs. She is calm when interacting with them and and she knows exactly how to keep them happy and safe. Whether she’s walking them or looking after them she’s always responsible and pays close attention to their needs. I have accompanied Shriya many times during her volunteering at SPCA and she does a phenomenal job interacting with the dogs at the Shelter. Shriya takes her role seriously, making sure each dog gets the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. She’s dependable and truly enjoys being around animals. Any dog in her care is in good hands.
Shriya took very good care of our nemo, followed instructions about his food and medicine, sent us loads of pictures. We had a very pleasant experience with her. Than you!
