I have a fenced in yard and one really mellow (he's been described as prozac with fur) black lab who likes everything and everyone, especially food. Remember, food is love. Love is food. :-)

Information Shmerl B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, behaviors or issues I should be aware of so that I can make sure they get the best treatment while you're gone. Information regarding their temperament is key.
A typical day
Lenny has a number of repeat customers for day care they all react in interesting ways either upon arrival or departure: Willow, upon her arrival sprints into the house to check and see if there's any food in Lenny's dish. Of course there never is but even if there was he wouldn't care, he'd just keep eating . heh And then there's Milly who cannot get away from her person fast enough when she gets here and acts like she just got to Disney land. And when it is time for her to leave she has had to be carried out more than once.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a Gus and have had Herbert, a Sherman, a Norman, a Mortimer. Mortie (full name, Mortimer Preston Shumway, 10 yr. chocolate) lives in Leadville, CO now because he suffered terrible skin allergies (3 medications a day and a medicated bath every other day and I still sometimes had to watch him try to get out of his own skin) and was adopted by a HS friend who lives in the high plain desert after his wife and two kids fell in love with him. Mort is the anti-Lenny (his drive and athleticism is unrivaled) and I miss him daily but he is living the healthy, no meds dream-life at the top of the world now. :-) Sorry, I digress. I currently live with Dr. Leon (Lenny) Pancetta. Personally, I always keep it to one dog at a time so all my dog's friends could come over for parties, playdates, sleepovers, etc . . .because a tired dog is a well-behaved dog. Training five dogs myself has taught me a lot about canine motivation and how to positively encourage good behaviors. My sidekick, Lenny, is a 6 year old black lab who is so laid back he is almost horizontal and a key player in keeping the pack relaxed. Lenny doesn't get ruffled by anything and the pack tends to follow his lead. Leon is very playful, yet manages to maintain his commitment to a life of leisure.
Reviews
Ginger had such a great time!! I could tell by the fantastic photos and updates!

Such a wonderful experience! The hosts are true dog lovers and made Lottie feel extremely welcome. This is a warm and loving home away from home! Excellent communication and I appreciated the photos!

Alice had a great day and I got a few videos thru the day showing her palying. She can't wait to go back and play again with her new friends!!

We appreciate the last minute accommodation. Duke was given a fresh bone and seemed great at pickup! We liked all of the photos as well.
