I’ve had dogs for over 27 years in total. A year and a half ago, I lost my dog of 15 years, and since then, I’ve missed the companionship of dogs. I will give your pet the same care and affection I would give my own!

My 5 year old Goldendoodle Charlie had a fantastic stay with Shizuko of about 3 weeks. Shizuko took care of Charlie like he was her own dog. She had arranged a meet-and-greet with Charlie before the stay, so dropping him off at Shizuko’s went very smoothly. Shizuko sent us many pictures of Charlie during his stay and he looked so happy! I could see that he had received much love from her when I picked him up! He turned towards Shizuko’s house many times as I tried to get him into my car.

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m home most of the day. Your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I usually take dogs for a walk once or twice a day and can adjust to their usual routine for meals, potty breaks, and rest.

I have a fully fenced yard where your dog can safely enjoy some time outside. My husband, our teenage kids, and I all love animals, especially dogs. We’ll give your pet plenty of love and attention and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with us.
A typical day
Our days are pretty relaxed. I usually start the morning with some time outside in our fenced yard, then have breakfast and take it easy at home. There’s plenty of time for walks, playtime, naps, and just hanging out with us. I am happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and give them as much attention or quiet time as they need.
