I’ve been caring for cats for over 8 years, including raising my two rescue cats, Lilly and Matthew, who were both left behind by previous owners before becoming part of my family. Caring for rescue cats taught me patience, trust-building, and how important it is to understand each cat’s unique personality and comfort level. I trained both Lilly and Matthew to recognize and respond to their names and calls, and I’ve spent years learning how to communicate with cats in a calm, respectful, and attentive way. In addition to caring for my own cats, I’ve also looked after multiple friends’ cats while they were out of town, helping with feeding, litter care, playtime, companionship, and making sure their cats felt safe and comfortable in their owners’ absence. I genuinely love cats and continuously educate myself about feline care and behavior through videos and content from veterinarians, cat behavior specialists, and professional groomers. I also regularly read about cat health, behavior, enrichment, and stress reduction so I can provide thoughtful and informed care.

I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care based on each cat’s personality, routine, and comfort level. In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay in their familiar environment with as little stress as possible by following their feeding schedules, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes thoroughly, and giving them attention, playtime, and companionship at their own pace. I also pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and any signs of stress or discomfort. I understand that every cat is different, some are social and playful, while others need patience and quiet space to feel safe. Having raised two rescue cats myself, I’m experienced with building trust gently and respecting boundaries. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel reassured while away. Cleanliness, safety, and creating a calm environment are very important to me, and I treat every pet with the same care and affection I give my own cats.

Schedule
My schedule is not too busy and I keep it that way intentionally. I'd love to care for cats and spend time with them every day after work or on weekends if I'm available. Spending quality time with cats gives me peace and makes me connected to the living nature on the planet that I'm disconnected from in modern life. Also, spending time with pets gives you insight and more information about life and teaches you things you can't learn with human life.
