I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with experience looking after both dogs and cats. I grew up helping care for family dogs, including walks, playtime, and giving them lots of affection and attention. I’ve also been around cats since I was young, and currently live with two cats, so I understand their different personalities and how to care for them with patience and respect. Having my own puppy has also helped me build practical experience with routines, basic training, supervision, and the patience that young pets need. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel that their animals are in loving and trustworthy hands, and I always do my best to provide calm, attentive, and affectionate care.

Shirley was so great with our pup Moon! She sent multiple updates throughout the day and took her for the weekend at super short notice. She was so sweet and communicative, would definitely go back to her!
Shirley is super kind, caring towards my animals and sent me a lot of photos! The only reason I removed a star was because she did my normal night time routine (which I instructed her was right before bed), but then I got a Ring alert that she left my house at 10pm. I wasn't aware she would be stepping out so late, and because of the lack of communication, I was really worried. I shot her a text and she responded saying she was only briefly popping out, but she was still gone for an hour and didn't get back until after 11pm. Not critical, but as a worried dog / cat mom - it still made me nervous since I had no idea what was going on. Otherwise - her service was good & my animals seemed happy, which was the goal.
Shirley is amazing! I got tons of pictures of my pup and he was able to play all day long with her puppy. Excellent communication and super reliable. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Shirley was absolutely amazing as a sitter for my girl, Piper. She was incredibly communicative and sent photos every day throughout the day, along with thoughtful updates on Piper’s eating, energy, and overall vibe. I always felt completely at ease knowing exactly how she was doing while I was away. Piper came home so happy, and I could tell she really enjoyed her time there - especially playing with Shirley’s dog. It honestly felt like the perfect place for her to stay. It’s rare to feel this comfortable leaving your pet with someone new, but Shirley made that possible right away. I feel so grateful to have found someone so reliable and close by, and I will absolutely call Shirley first in the future. I truly appreciate the care, attention, and love she showed Piper the entire time.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and keeping them company are things I’m happy to build into my day. I’m used to caring for pets consistently at home, including my 3-month-old puppy and two cats, so I understand the importance of routine, supervision, patience, and making pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether a pet needs active play, companionship, or a calmer pace, I’m able to adapt to their needs.

I believe pets do best when they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for, so I always focus on creating a calm and loving environment. In my home, I care for my puppy and two cats, and they coexist well, which has taught me a lot about supervision, patience, routine, and respecting each pet’s space and personality. I also have a backyard for safe, supervised outdoor time. In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and respect the pet’s routine so they can feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.

A typical day
Depending on what your pet likes, we can go hiking, take a drive to the store, or simply stay at home. I'm also flexible to adapt to new routines and activities!
