I will feed and give water to your dog once or twice a day, as you request. I'm happy to play with your dogs and give them treats if you'd like. I do like to spend some time with them, rather than just a "quick stop". Time for more belly rubs & cuddles! I am also happy to walk your dog in the morning, or evening.

A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch or tug-of-war with dogs, but mostly I enjoy petting them, giving them attention, love and belly rubs! Please let me know if your pets have any special tricks or skills (beg, roll over, etc.), and I will be happy to work with them on those as well.

Pet care experience
I was a dog owner for over 30 years, and as a recent empty-nester, I am missing my fur babies! I have owned Australian Shepherds, a Husky, and a Shepherd mix. I often care for my "grand-dogs" as needed by my children. I miss having a dog, and would love care for yours!

Shirley is my go-to dog sitter! She gives my dogs all the love and care they need while I’m away from home. My dogs can be a handful and Shirley is always so patient with them and keeps them on their normal routine. I would highly recommend her to any dog parent.
