My two cats were well looked after and seemed very happy with Shirley. I was very nervous to leave them with a stranger for over a week, but it worked out very well. And she sent lots and lots of videos, which was very comforting. You can tell that she likes cats.

Schedule
I am self employed and work from home and set my own hours so I will have plenty of time to offer exceptional care to your pet. I am available for boarding 7 days a week.

I have a fenced in yard and have cat toys and scratching posts for cats. I have dog toys as well. I love to walk so when you bring your dog to me he/she will be sure to get a couple of walks a day. If you need me to go to your home to look after your pet and walk your dog, I am happy to do that as well.

A typical day
Your dog's day with me will be full of fun, love, and plenty of tail-wagging adventures! We'll start the morning with a refreshing walk, giving your pup the chance to stretch their legs and explore the neighborhood. If your dog loves a good run, we'll hit the nearby park or a local trail for some energetic exercise. Mid-morning, we'll engage in interactive playtime, tailored to your dog's preferences. Whether it's a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or practicing their favorite tricks, I'll make sure your dog gets plenty of mental and physical stimulation. I also incorporate puzzle toys or scent games to keep their minds sharp and engaged. After some playtime, we'll have a relaxing break where your pup can rest and recharge, possibly with some cozy snuggle time if they enjoy it. In the afternoon, we'll have another walk or play session, this time focusing on social interaction if your dog is comfortable with meeting other dogs. If they prefer one-on-one attention, we'll explore new areas or engage in more personalized activities. Before winding down for the evening, we'll spend some quiet time together, making sure your dog feels calm and content. This could include brushing, gentle petting, or just relaxing in a peaceful spot. Your dog's happiness and well-being are my top priorities, so each day is customized to suit their unique needs and personality.

Social Preferences: How does your pet interact with other dogs, animals, and people? If they prefer solo walks or have certain play preferences, I’ll make sure their social time is tailored to their comfort. Favorite Activities: What are your pet’s favorite toys, games, or places to visit? I aim to create a fun and enjoyable experience, so knowing what makes them happiest helps me plan our day together. Emergency Contact: It’s helpful to have an emergency contact number and your preferred vet’s information, just in case.
