Hi, I'm Shin-Yu! I'm a Hove-based pet sitter, dog walker, and proud rescue dog owner. I currently volunteer with Raystede and have spent most of my life around dogs, from growing up with family pets to caring for my own rescue dog, Teddy. Alongside caring for my own pets, I've volunteered as a dog walker and looked after dogs and cats for friends and family over the years. I love getting to know each animal's unique personality and always aim to provide calm, reliable care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with both your pet and your home, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I'd love to meet you and your furry family! 🐾

I would like to recommend shin yu. She has looked after my cat, Haku, and rabbit, Boba, several times, and I always feel confident leaving them in her care. She takes the time to give them attention, cuddles, and make sure they're comfortable and happy. Having also seen how well she cares for her own pets and our family dogs, I know how dedicated and reliable she is. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter.
I highly recommend Shin-Yu! She’s super gentle and caring with my dogs and really pays attention to all the little details. You can tell she’s very responsible and genuinely loves what she does. I always feel at ease leaving my dogs with her, and I’d definitely book her again!
Shin-Yu/Victoria is an extremely loving and compassionate person. She's great with people and animals. She's owned several dogs and ferrets herself, as well as offering the occasional assistance for my own cat and rabbit when I've needed it. I trust her completely, she is sharp and creative, and can find positivity in any situation. I have no doubt in my mind she'd be an excellent fit for this position, I'd go a step further to even say that passing up on this opportunity to work with her would be one of the biggest losses for your organisation. Schedule
I currently work in two part-time roles, so my availability can vary a little from week to week. I’m generally free on Sundays, and my Friday and Saturday availability depends on my rota, which I usually receive in advance. My other role is Monday to Thursday, 8am–4pm. I really enjoy spending time with dogs/ animals and love being able to fit pet care around my work schedule. I’m happy to look after your pets for one-off bookings or build a regular arrangement that works well for both of us. As I get my rota in advance, I can usually plan ahead and do my best to accommodate your dates and needs wherever possible.
