They call me the dog whisperer!
Dogs have always been at the heart of my life. I’ve cared for large breeds (80–100 lbs) and currently share my home—and my work-from-home days—with my 45-pound beagle mix, Sophia. I often host my family’s dogs as well, so multi-dog households are second nature to me. My background includes two years working at a veterinary clinic in my hometown, plus ongoing volunteer work with multiple shelters and regular fostering. These experiences have taught me how to care for a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, supporting anxious pups, and adapting to each dog’s unique personality. Above all, I’m calm, empathetic, and fun—and my priority is to provide the same love and attention your dog receives from you. Whether it’s belly rubs, structured routines, or quiet companionship, I tailor my care to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and at home.

Shilpi was fabulous! Murphy was "at home" with Shilpi and her two dogs, Sofia and Bindi. Murphy was a member of the pack, running and playing to his heart's content. Shilpi was very prompt in responding to our inquiry. She offered a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure that Spud was comfy with her. Her love for and experience with dogs was evident, and our boy liked her right away. Our little guy is a velcro dog, and I was worried about how he would fare in a regular boarding facility. Shilpi was such a better choice! He was loved, walked, and snuggled as if he was at home with us. She is going to be our go-to dog sitter!

Programa
Our day starts with a peaceful 10–20 minute morning walk around the neighborhood, followed by breakfast and some downtime. Around noon, I take the pups out for a quick potty break and a chance to sniff and explore. In the late afternoon—typically around 4 PM—we head out again for a longer walk, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on their energy and comfort. If your dog enjoys social outings, I’m happy to bring them along to one of the scenic dog parks nearby for some extra enrichment and playtime. After our evening adventure, it’s time for dinner and a final potty break before settling in for the night. I’m always attentive to each dog’s individual needs, so if they require additional breaks or adjustments to the schedule, I’m happy to accommodate.

I live in a quiet apartment building with a fenced bark park just steps away—perfect for getting out any zoomies or enjoying some off-leash playtime. Inside, I have an XL kennel and gates available if needed, but I always encourage you to bring anything that helps your pup feel comfortable and at home. Whether it’s a favorite blanket, toy, or calming aid, I want them to settle in with ease.

If your dog enjoys social outings, I’m happy to bring them along to one of the scenic dog parks nearby for some extra enrichment and playtime. Otherwise, you can expect walks, cuddles and enrichment games.
