Availability
I am accustomed to building a schedule around my pets and work as needed. I generally give my dogs a morning, noon, evening, and bedtime outing, with extra walks or playtime as needed on a given day. I do not bring my animals to pet sitting requests, nor do I bring other people's pets to my home.

I always supervise outdoor time to ensure dogs do not run away as my house does not have a fence. I also monitor dog play whether indoors or outdoors to ensure play does not get too rough. I utilize a crate for my dog when they need a break from socializing or when they go to bed at night and do not leave them in the restrained space for unnecessarily long periods of time. I ensure that doors get latched and locked all the way to keep dogs from escaping when I leave the house or come back inside from a walk. When I go on walks I keep a leash on my dog at all times.

I have never given primary care to a senior dog with major medical needs, though I have experience with dogs 11 years old and up. I can offer oral medications if needed but do not have experience with injections or other medications. If given detailed instructions, such as medication routines, bathroom hours, specific feeding times and quantities, I can maintain schedules that are familiar to the dog. Personally, I do not take my dogs into the dog park often, if ever, but some owners with very social dogs like doing so. With that said, by direct request only will I take a dog to the dog park.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with the dogs I watch both in the house and outdoors. When the weather is nice I like to sit outdoors and let the dogs get fresh air. Often times I will give the dogs a food enrichment kong/bowl/lick mat if the owner suggests doing so. I am able to take dogs on hikes or to a swimming spot, but tend not to do so without explicit instructions/requests as excursions require removing the dogs from their familiar environment.

Pet care experience
Prior experience pet sitting in neighborhood, for friends, and for family members. Longest single visit pet sitting contract to date was an 18 day in-house/over night job. I have had pets practically my whole life; dogs and cats. I have had exposure to other animals such as farm animals, rodents, and reptiles, but in limited amounts.

ShiLi was wonderful with our two babies. We waited until the last minute to find a pet sitter for Christmas, and I was really afraid we wouldn't have luck. But ShiLi came to our rescue. Our yorkie and malshi can be nervous when we leave them. ShiLi made them feel safe, and she was a professional all around. We highly recommend ShiLi!
ShiLi managed our elderly dog, recovering from pneumonia, with skill, persistence (especially when administering medications), and gentleness while we were out of town. Additionally, ShiLi was a most conscientious guest in our home for several nights. We will welcome her back in the future.
