I am a genuine dog lover and a pet parent myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone reliable, kind and patient to look after your pets. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs day to day, including feeding routines, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, basic grooming care and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I currently care for my own dogs, including a larger energetic dog and a smaller companion dog, so I am comfortable with different sizes, temperaments and routines. I understand that every pet has their own personality, likes, dislikes and boundaries, and I always try to follow the owner’s instructions closely. What sets me apart is that I treat pets like family. I am patient, gentle and attentive, and I will make sure your dog receives plenty of care, affection and reassurance while you are away. I can help with regular walks, feeding, playtime, companionship and keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I am also happy to provide updates, photos and messages so you feel reassured while your pet is with me.

The Dog sitter/ Walker did not follow my instructions, I explained everything in details when they came for the introductory visit. She took off my dog's collar without my consent. They had my contact details, if they were unsure, they could have contacted my directly, without attempting to take off the collar first. This action provoked my dog to behave in a very different manner. If she is used to removing her dog's collar after taking it for a walk, this practise is not applicable for all dogs. The Dog sitter also needs to be made aware that Rabies does not exist in the U.K. There are no boosters/injections for Rabies applicable to humans,dogs or monkeys within the U.K.
I cannot recommend Shikha highly enough! Leaving my puppy Nova could have been stressful but was most definitely the opposite! Shikha made me feel completely at ease from day one. I received wonderful photo/video updates and clear communication daily, which let me relax and enjoy my time away. Nova was very happy, well-exercised, and clearly loved her time with Shikha and her family, including her 2 lovely dogs. Absolutey 100% reliability and care. I will definitely rebook. Wonderful, just wondeeful. Thank you!
Shikha was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She regularly kept us updated with pics and vids and was so accommodating when our pooch was being a little pickle with toileting and eating as she’d never stayed away from home before! Highly recommend Shikha and will be using her again!
Shikha and her husband are lovely people and real animal lovers. They bent over backwards to make my little dog Archie feel at home. I would definitely recommend them.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I already care for my own dogs every day. I am used to regular feeding times, morning and evening walks, toilet breaks, playtime and keeping dogs settled throughout the day. I have a flexible routine, so I can plan walks, visits or care around each pet’s normal schedule. I understand that consistency is important for pets, so I always try to follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep their routine as familiar as possible.

I care for pets with patience, attention and respect for their individual needs. Whether I am looking after a pet in my home or in the owner’s home, I make sure they feel safe, calm and comfortable. I always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication if required, toilet routines, sleeping arrangements and any house rules. I keep pets supervised, avoid unsafe situations, and take care when opening doors, walking near roads or introducing them to unfamiliar places. In my home, pets will be treated like family in a clean, caring and comfortable environment. I also understand that some pets may feel nervous when away from their owners, so I give them time, reassurance and gentle attention. I am happy to send regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pet is safe and well cared for.
