I’m retired so I have lots of time. I want dogs that are child friendly, dog friendly and cat tolerant as I have grandchildren and my adult children also have dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 1 bedroom condo with a large fenced outdoor patio. Dogs are allowed anywhere in my home. Although I say I can take dogs up to 16lbs, I can actually take dogs up to 25 lbs. I’m very active so doggy gets lots of walks and socialization.

Information Sheryl S. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know of any special needs and/ or exercise requirements. We know every dog has quirks so it’s important to know about those as well.
A typical day
I enjoy forest and beach walks with my dogs. My routine is to get my dogs out for an adventure every morning. Usually 1-2 hours if the dog is up to that. I’m also ok to take much shorter walks for senior or dogs with disabilities. Even if the dogs get out for several short walks they still get mental stimulation and exercise. I like to go to new places so the dogs have new locations to explore

Retired Dog Lover needs doggy love
Pet care experience
I lost my dog, Charlie, in April 2022. He was almost 18 years old and my best friend. I don’t want to commit to another pet right now but I’ve been feeling the need to engage with more furry friends. I’m retired so I have time to spend with your dog.
Reviews

My dog is very anxious, and Sheryl made him feel calm right away. I can tell Sunny looks forward to his visits with Sheryl which puts my mind at ease. She’s been a life saver!

Sheryl is always great with our dog! He loves it there!

This was my first time using Rover and I’m very happy I found Sheryl. Excellent care towards my senior dog. She gave her all the attention and love Molly needed while we were away. A very sweet and caring person and I would recommend her to anyone.

My dog’s first long day with Sheryl, and he’s fine! She is very caring, takes him on a walk, and sends multiple videos and photos! We’re very happy with Sheryl and look forward to booking more dates with her.
