We enjoyed 15 wonderful years with our amazing cat before he passed in 2024, and we truly miss having a furry friend around. We are lifelong dog and cat lovers who both work from home full time (music law professional and technical producer), so your pet will have near constant company, attention, and affection throughout the day. We're just two blocks from the Bedford Ave. L, one block from Bond Vet for peace of mind, and a short walk to McCarren Park for fresh air and playtime. Your pets will be treated with love and care, like family.

Sherry and Walter were absolutely amazing! This was the first time we had ever left our cat, Romeo, with anyone, and from the very beginning they made us feel completely at ease knowing our baby was in such good hands. Romeo warmed up to them right away and quickly felt right at home, which was such a huge relief for us. They watched him for 15 days while we were away on our honeymoon and sent us daily updates, which we really appreciated. Romeo is extremely social and loves attention, and Sherry and Walter gave him plenty of love and affection throughout his stay. We are so grateful to have found them and will absolutely be reaching out again the next time we go away. We couldn’t recommend Sherry and Walter more highly to anyone looking for loving, trustworthy care for their fur babies!
Our very shy and dog reactive Lula stayed with Sherry and Walter for the first time and we were thrilled with our experience. They were very communicative on Lula’s progress getting comfortable in their home which was very reassuring. We were very impressed and confident in Lulas next stay going just as well.
Sherry and Walter took great care of my cat, Roxie. They are very set up for cats with a tree and litter and toys. Communication was great and they were incredibly flexible and understanding when I hit some travel issues. Would definitely have Roxie stay with them again!

Sherry and Walter looked after our little puppy Figo for a night, and were fantastic sitters! They played with him, made him feel very comfortable with lots of snuggles, took him on a lovely walk and sent us lots of updates throughout. We’d recommend them highly!

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine since we work from home. Your pet will receive consistent companionship, playtime, walks, and attention throughout the day. We enjoy taking breaks to cuddle, go outside, and make sure your pet feels relaxed, safe, and loved in our home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will have the full run of our spacious apartment no closed doors, no cramped corners, just home. For cats: • Litter box will be scooped right after they use them! Spotless, always (we will provide a clean litter box and fresh litter for all cat stays) • Tall scratching post with cozy pedestal perch • Wide, sunny windowsills perfect for bird watching or epic naps • Fresh catnip, jingly balls, wand toys, brushes, and a supply of Amazon boxes (we save the best ones) For dogs: • Private small fenced backyard for quick potty breaks or quiet sunbathing (a senior dog favorite) • Basket of tennis balls ready to fly • 5-minute walk to McCarren Park for proper romps and zoomies
A typical day
We tailor playtime to each pet's personality. Some cats love cozy hideouts and window watching we have comfy boxes, sunny windowsills, and simple enrichment games like crinkled paper and a few hidden treats for them to find. Dogs get plenty of attention too, whether that's a game of tug of war, fetch, or just stretching out for some calming cuddle time. We keep things fun, gentle, and low stress. If your pet has favorite toys, routines, or a particular style of play they love, let us know we want their time here to feel happy, comfortable, and familiar.

- We'd love to know your pet's normal routines and what helps them feel comfortable. Please tell us their favorite ways to be petted or played with, any quirks, or anything that might make them nervous. Let us know about feeding schedules, treats they love (or should avoid), and any special needs or medical instructions. If they have a favorite blanket, pillow, or even an old towel that smells like home, we encourage you to bring it. Familiar scents work magic in a new place, and we want tails wagging and purrs rumbling from the moment they walk in. The more we know, the better we can make their stay feel safe, relaxing, and fun. 🐾
