I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!).

Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

I'd love to know all about your pet- dietary restrictions, health conditions, personality quirks, how they get along with other animals, and any other details you'd like to provide! Do they have separation anxiety, does it take them some time to warm up to strangers, does their food need to be prepared a certain way, are there any tricks you're trying to teach them? :-)
A typical day
I run and walk around the lake pretty regularly, and I'm happy to take your pup along with me! For boarded cats, we'll have play time, snack time, and I'll collect boxes ahead of your cat's stay. Any instructions you have for me to provide a comfortable walking / boarding / drop-in experience for your pet, I'll be sure to follow to the tee! I’d like to follow your pup/kitty’s regular schedule as much as possible.

Pet care experience
*I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-)

Sherry is an AMAZING dog sitter!! I trusted her to care for my sweet but nervous 50lb girl, Ellie, and I could not have asked for a better sitter. Sherry was so thorough, she sent plenty of updates throughout and put me at ease! She was super responsive to my dog’s needs, and I could see Ellie just melting and falling in love with her through the updates. She’s got a lovely, clean and safe apartment and she is obviously someone who knows dogs well. I would trust Sherry with dog sitting ANY day! Highly recommend.
