I offer home-style daycare and boarding for small and medium dogs up to 40 lbs. Located about five minutes from Tacoma Mall with easy access from I-5, the convenient location makes drop-off and pick-up simple for busy pet parents. Dogs enjoy a cozy, kennel-free environment with supervised playtime, calm rest periods, and plenty of personal attention. Playmates are thoughtfully matched by size, temperament, and play style so everyone can socialize comfortably and safely. A typical day includes indoor and outdoor play, meals served according to each dog’s usual schedule, rest time, affection, and regular photo updates. The goal is simple—to help every dog feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely at home. Whether your pup joins for daycare or stays overnight, they’ll have a comfortable place to play, make friends, unwind, and settle in with confidence.

Sherry has taken care of my fur babies twice. My pups were a little nervous about meeting her the first time, but they quickly adjusted and were excited to be dropped off the second time, which reassured me that they enjoyed their time at her place. They both came home tired. I was really excited to get photo updates throughout the day. Sherry has also replied promptly to my inquiries. I highly recommend Sherry!

Schedule
Flexible schedule such as early drop off with no extra cost at your convenience. Pet care is part of my daily routine — feeding, exercise, playtime, and making sure each dog is happy, clean, and comfortable every single day. Enjoy the treats from Bark & Barrel on the house!

Treat your pets like mine! I intentionally care for a small number of pets at a time so each one receives individual attention and love. This is a home-based service, not a high-volume daycare facility. Furthermore, your pets can enjoy a 2,000 sq. ft. private, fully fenced yard that is well maintained and closely supervised, along with scheduled potty breaks every 2 hours.

Pets get play-time every two hours in our fully fenced yard or indoor playground. They can play, run, explore, and socialize safely every day, enjoying fun activities that keep them happy and active.
