Something I would like to know before your dog stays with us. 🍽️ Feeding & Routine What and how much do they eat, and at what times? Any food allergies or restrictions? Are treats allowed? Which ones? What’s their daily routine (walks, playtime, naps)? Exercise & Training How often and how long are walks? Are they leash-trained? Health & Safety Any medical conditions? Do they take medication? (Dosage, schedule, how to give it) What should I do in an emergency? Are they up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention? House Rules Where does the dog sleep? Are they allowed on furniture? Can they be left alone? If so, for how long? Any areas of the house that are off-limits?

A typical day

My day typically starts around 7 a.m. with a 30-minute walk with my dog, Nacho, followed by breakfast. Around 1 p.m., we either go for a shorter walk or spend some time playing in the backyard. Nacho has dinner around 5 p.m., and our evening walk is usually at 5:30 p.m. during the winter, or after sundown in the summer. Before going to bed, we'll have a potty break in my front yard around 10 pm. With more free time now, I enjoy cooking healthy, well-balanced meals for my family—including Nacho.

Life long dog lover

Pet care experience

I’ve had dogs my entire life, and my husband and I are true animal lovers. We treat every dog in our care as if they were our own. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for many years and am excited to now offer my services through Rover. We share our home with our well-loved 30 pound, 8 year-old mixed breed, Nacho. Dogs staying with us enjoy full access to our home and our securely fenced backyard. They’ll receive two longer walks (about 30 minutes each) in the morning and evening, along with multiple midday potty and activity breaks. For energetic dogs who need extra exercise, I’m happy to provide longer walks or runs as needed—keeping dogs well exercised helps prevent boredom and ensures a happy stay. I host only dogs 40 pounds or under, one dog at a time, or up to two dogs from the same family. Throughout your dog’s stay, I’ll send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for. First-time clients are encouraged to schedule a Meet & Greet prior to the stay. Please note that I may not introduce my dog to yours during this meeting, as I follow a gradual introduction process after arrival to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for all dogs. I provide daily updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay. For boarding, all dogs must be fully house-trained and up to date on vaccinations. A current copy of vaccination records is required upon arrival. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and look forward to hearing from you!

A wonderful experience with Sherry. She sent multiple photos everyday, communicated as needed and was easy and flexible with pickup and drop off times. The home was quiet and the large yard was perfect for our dog. We appreciated how well she took care of our baby. Thank you!!

Sherry went above and beyond my expectations. In addition to exercising, giving meds, and loving on him, she sent me pictures everyday showing him completely relaxed in her home. He was treated like a little king! 10/10 recommend

Sherry has watched my dogs several times, they like going with her and she’s always been great about taking pictures and keeping me informed about each day. I’ve never had a surprise or incident with her. She’s always been flexible and easy to work with.
