For the love of pets!
I grew up in a family who had 2 dogs and 2 cats at a minimum at any one time. So having pets was the norm and caring for them was something my parents instilled in us from an early age. So the love of animals is a deep need. When I moved to NC 12 years ago to care for my mom and aunt I decided I needed something for me..that was pet sitting..it brought me joy and peace..over the last few years my client base dwindled due to age of clients and pets and my responsibilities for my mom and aunt made it so I didnt have the opportunity to pet sit. But now my circumstances have changed and I have moved to a new part of NC and I'm ready to start over again and am excited to find new clients to have fun with! My special skills that I bring besides my maturity is a sense of responsibility, patience, reliability, trustworthiness and love of pets.

I am available to come to your home to care for your pets for walks, feedings, play time, or to stay overnite. Whatever your needs are, I can accommodate. I LOVE lists and instructions, so I like to keep pet care consistent weather it is provided by you or someone "filling in" for you..

A picture says 1000 words, and if one could be included here, a photo of Sherry meeting my dog Hunter would tell quite a tale. As a rescue, Hunter is quite reactive to strangers. But in meeting him for the first time, Sherry distinguished herself as a compassionate, caring human who immediately put Hunter at ease. As a dog Mom and pet lover herself, Sherry instinctively knew how to greet Hunter in a warm and welcoming way. Within seconds, Hunter clearly felt comfortable enough to allow Sherry to pet him, much to his glee — and my surprise. Moments later, he felt safe enough to curl up on the sofa next to her — unheard of behavior in my skittish little man! This tale is testament to the loving presence Sherry brings to her pet-sitting. She’s a natural, a gem, and I can’t recommend her highly enough! Your fur baby will feel contented — and cherished — in her exceptional care.
