I am retired after 42 years with the federal government. I spend most of my time at home with my retired husband, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Aside from occasional errands, I’m available to ensure your dog(s) receives consistent care and affection. Our home is designed with dogs' comfort in mind. We have a large, grassy, fully fenced backyard and a dog door that allows dogs to come and go freely at their own pace. In addition, I regularly take dogs outside for potty breaks throughout their stay. Dogs are treated like family here and are welcome on the furniture and beds. We provide pet stairs to help them safely access couches and beds, making them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Daily walks are offered during the cooler parts of the day, typically in the early morning and again in the late afternoon or evening.

Providing a safe, secure, and loving environment is my top priority. Our large, fenced backyard offers plenty of space for exercise, play, and relaxation. We also share our home with two friendly, long-haired, five-year-old Dachshunds who enjoy the company of visiting dogs. We strive to maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can settle in comfortably and enjoy their stay. We provide extra dog beds for guests, and if your dog prefers or requires a crate, you're welcome to bring your own. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddling on the couch, relaxing in the yard, or simply being around caring people, they'll receive personalized attention and plenty of love while you're away.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, medical concerns, food restrictions, allergies, or specific routines that I should follow. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Carrots and bananas are favorite treats in our home, but I will only offer them if they are okay for your dog. If your dog requires special food, medication, supplies, or accommodations, please provide everything they will need for their stay.

A typical day here includes plenty of love, attention, playtime, and relaxation. I enjoy keeping dogs happy and engaged with fun games, toys, stuffed animals, balls, and time outside in the yard. Depending on your dog’s energy level and personality, we can enjoy playtime, walks, cuddles, quiet rest, and lots of companionship throughout the day. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, loved, entertained, and right at home.

Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've cared for my own dogs as well as those belonging to friends, family members, and rescue organizations. I am currently volunteering as a transport driver for NorCal Boxer Rescue and Gettin' Home Transport, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. From energetic puppies to gentle giants like St. Bernards, I've worked with a wide variety of dogs and understand that each one has unique needs, routines, and temperaments. My goal is always to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while they're in my care.

Sherry has been caring for my two Dachshunds for many years. They are always excited to stay with her. I am picky about who cares for my girls and always feel confident that they will be cared for as if Sherry was their Mom. One of my girls has to have eye medication daily and Sherry has been able to make sure it gets done. My girls also enjoy playing with her two dachshunds. She has ramps in the living room for the sofa, so the dogs don't have to jump up or down and she has a doggy door for them to use. I am very thankful for the great care my girls receive when they get puppysat. I don't have to worry about them when I am away.
Sherry LOVES animals. She will treat your family members as if they were her own. She is patient and pays attention to detail. She has cared for my babies on several occasions. I 100% recommend her services, you will not be disappointed!
