My doggo and I recently moved back to Texas from Colorado and are enjoying being back with family here. As we continue to settle in, I would love to help you and your family in your pet sitting and/or feeding and walking needs. My availability is flexible and wide and I'm here to help take care of your pups and kitties!

I am extremely conscientious about pet safety and welfare so you can rest assured that your fur kids are in competent and capable hands. If there are emergencies or urgent situations, I have the maturity and confidence to remain calm and address the need quickly. Additionally, if you would like your dog to have a playmate during my visit, I have a very "dog-friendly" dog who loves to play and would be more than happy to offer her services. (This would only be per your request)

Please specify any special needs your pet has medically or physically, as well as personality quirks such as specific things they do or do not like. For example, is your pet particularly shy or unsure about new people? Or....does your pet not like a particular thing such as tail or foot touching? I want their experience with me to be as comfortable and stressless as possible so any information you can share that will help with this would be very appreciated.
A typical day
Based on your instructions and your pet's activity level, I will assure that they receive the proper amount of exercise and interaction during my visit or stay. We can do brisk walks or easy walks. We can play ball, frisbee and chase (my dogs personal favorites!) We can play hide and seek, we can play tug, we can practice some tricks, we can sit on the floor and enjoy each other's company or in the grass and enjoy the breeze, I can bring some treat puzzles to play, we can do belly rubs and ear scratches or.....we can just snuggle and chat. The possibilities are endless. Whatever it is we do, it's about fulfilling your pet's needs - not checking off a "to do" list just to receive a paycheck.

Pet care experience
I have always had a conscientiousness and innate knowledge for dog care and connection. I treat and love every dog as if it were my own which means....they are family. Because of my lifelong love for pets, I worked for a pet nutrition company for years where I focused on pet care and well-being. I interacted and learned from trainers, groomers and pet professionals. I am comfortable with dogs that are big and small, young and old, and any breed. And...while I don't "own" a cat, I am happy to care for them too! I will care for your pets as if they were my own and I will do everything it takes to make sure every furry face has an ear-to-ear smile and everything they need to be healthy, safe and content.

Sherri took great care of our pups, even the “difficult” one warmed up to her. She took the time to send pictures, take of note of when and how much they ate, and even left detailed notes for us on how and what the pups did while we were gone. She even left us a Christmas card! So sweet and detail oriented, and she did so well with our difficult pups. We will absolutely be calling her again.
