Pet care experience
Welcome To Little Paws of Peachtree
I am a native of Atlanta with over 25 years of combined experience owning and providing care for toy breed dogs specifically. I offer an environment tailored to the physical and social needs of small toy breed dogs including a perfect balance of walkies, sunbathing on the fenced in patio, play time and lounging. * I require a minimum 3 night stay *I can accept smaller breed dogs 15 lbs or less. *Dogs must be house trained and require potty breaks not more often than 4-6 hours. ** I have had a few requests for boarding dogs with high anxiety or that can’t wait at least 4-6 hours for potty breaks and I will not be able to accommodate these needs.( Ie. Dogs that have anxiety to the point of me not being able to leave the house (ie barking/crying the entire time while I am away, chewing or scratching at door etc)

Ratings and reviews
Sherlan was great with my dog Waffles!! She was very communicative, and it was easy to see Waffles was well taken care of and had a great time staying over!

Sherlan was great to work with. She kept our ladies safe and I know they had a great time. They can’t wait to be back.

Sherlan was a great sitter. She loved having our ladies over and said they are both sweet and welcome back.

I was nervous about leaving my mini dachshund, Indy, as I have not taken a trip in a while without him. Well I had no need for concern! Sherlan treated him as her own and Indy left her place even more spoiled than before 😂 thank you, Sherlan, for being so fantastic with him!

Always an awesome stay! My dog is well taken care of and loves his stay!
My dog always has a great time and gets spoiled just like he does at home! He enjoys his stay at Sherlan’s house and leaves on a great routine!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Boarding in large group environments can be overwhelming and stressful for many small dogs, especially those who are shy, elderly, or simply more sensitive. That’s why I’m proud to offer a personalized, home-based alternative that prioritizes your pup’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. In my care, your dog will enjoy a calm and nurturing environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I keep a very small number of guests at a time to ensure each dog receives the attention, affection, and individualized care they deserve. During outdoor time with the exception of quick patio potty breaks, a leash is required at all times to ensure their safety including drop offs and pick ups. At the front door there is a baby gate set up to prevent escape attempts anytime the door opens😊 I have french doors that lead out to a small patio surrounded by a 6 foot fence with a designated potty area for potty breaks between walks.
Pets
A typical day
First thing in the morning, we head out for a quick potty break. Breakfast Time: Each pet has their own dietary requirements, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. This includes any dietary restrictions, allergies, and specific portions. After breakfast, it’s time for a walk around the complex or along the creek behind my building. Once they’ve been walked, watered, and fed, we relax indoors for a bit. I tailor activities based on each pet’s energy levels and preferences. Some enjoy a game of fetch, others prefer lounging on the back of the sofa and watching the world go by, and a few love the mental challenge of solving a treat puzzle. Many dogs appreciate a bit of downtime in the afternoon, making it the perfect time for a siesta. In the evening, we have dinner, followed by some rest and digestion time before heading out for a final after-dinner walk. Once we’re back inside, we wind down with quiet snuggles, then go out for one last quick potty break. Finally, they get a bedtime treat before settling in for the night.
