I work from home, so it's easy to intregrate dog guests into my regular routine. Everything is close by where I live, so I don't leave the house for extended periods of time. I am an early riser and enjoy morning walks with a good cup of coffee.

I enjoy dogs are that are well adpated socially to both people and other dogs and have good behaviour in public. I enjoy sporting breeds but open to most other breeds as long as they are not aggresive in nature.
A typical day
There are several good dog parks near by and I enjoy taking dog companions to sit outside at the local coffee shops and pubs and socialize.

I have been a dog owner for 25 years, but now an “empty nester”. Taking care of your cherished canine companion is the next best thing. Base camp is a 1907 craftsman house in NE Portland Irvington neighborhood and I enjoy taking lots of dog walks to the many local parks and coffee shops. I provide lots love and attention and do the things to reinforce all good dog mojo. I play multiple sports and highly active and enjoy sharing that energy with all types of dogs, but particularly enjoy Sporting dogs. I have owned labradors and spaniels. Neighborhood dogs are known to drag their owners to my house because if they have been here before, they know it's the place to be.

Dan is the best!! He took amazing care of Lemmy and was super communicative and kind. I felt so comfortable leaving Lemmy with him and I know Lemmy had a great time too!
