I take a lot of odd jobs where I mostly choose my own hours. My only schedule conflict that I may have is class, which can sometimes be skipped if a family really needs help. I'm free week days over lunch and in the afternoons. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday my schedule is wide open!

I think it's really important for animals to feel safe wherever they are. I'd like to think over my years of owning animals I know behavior fairly well, and I know when a dog needs space or attention.

I like to know what kind of personality I'm dealing with, as well as any health concerns or boundaries the dog has. Also, a dogs history is normally a huge part of who they are and why they might act certain ways. If I know important information I can adjust my energy levels, and be cautious so that no dog is hurt or uncomfortable in my presence.
A typical day
The activity I do with the dog depends on their personality. My smallest dog, Wiley is a low energy, old dog. He enjoys sunbathing. My younger, larger dogs on the other hand like to chase me around the yard and nip at my heels (they're cattle dogs who LOVE to run).

My oldest dog, Wiley is my best friend and the dog that got me into loving animals and working with animals of all kind. I truly believe that no dog is inherently aggressive, and I am a huge advocate of finding all animals forever homes.

She is so great! She communicates very well and sends lots of pics of our dog and little updates on what they have been up to together!
Sheridan has taken care of many animals through their life time and have helped many foster dogs find homes. They have had experience with all kinds of dogs and is very flexible with how the dog behaves.
