This was the first time I’ve ever left my dog Sterling in his six and a half years, and on top of that, someone I didn’t know was staying in my home — so I had a lot of worries going in! Sterling is a big Great Dane with pretty severe separation anxiety and a history of going on hunger strikes when I’m gone, so I wasn’t sure how he’d do. I also worried about Sheridan’s comfort level with his size and my need for frequent updates while away. From the very start, Sheridan put me completely at ease. She listened to every single request and took them seriously. She treated my home with respect and kept everything spotless. When I came back, Sterling was calm, happy, and — to my amazement — had even gained over two pounds! This was such a relief because he’s about to go through chemotherapy, and keeping his weight up is critical for a successful treatment. The few times I peeked at the outdoor cameras, they were always outside playing together. Sheridan is incredibly empathetic and genuinely cares for pets like they’re her own — she even asked about Sterling’s favorite toys, movies, schedule, habits, allergies, and behaviors. Before my trip, she spent nearly two hours with us for an in-person meet and greet, asking thoughtful questions about Sterling and the house. Her knowledge and initiative were so reassuring. There was even a small issue with one of my exterior gates while I was away — Sheridan woke up at 5:30 a.m. when I called and went outside to take care of it. I couldn’t be more grateful! I can’t wait to have Sheridan stay with Sterling again next month — no hesitation at all. She’s a true blessing, and any pet family would be lucky to have her. Do not hesitate to book her!
