I have owned a female Belgian Shepherd mix as a child and she was so intelligent that she won multiple ribbons in local skills competitions. I also owned 2 female Saint Bernards (littermates) who I formally trained as pups. They were extremely sweet and gentle especially with my 3 newborn babies as they came home for the first time. I have done dog walking and sitting for several friends, some who had other animals in the home. I enjoy spending time with animals who give me so much joy. In addition to owning dogs and cats, I have also raised domestic rabbits for 15 years and loved the entire experience of bringing new life into the world. We also have a western hognose snake named Remi and she is really great! My children and many of their friends have enjoyed handling her as she is so calm. Other pets we have had over the years include a bearded dragon named Raja, a rat named Tori and several hamsters and fish.
