capitalize on my love of long walks
i’ve been taking care of plants and animals for my friends and neighbors since i was watering my neighbors gardens and feeding their chickens. i grew up in los angeles, where a shocking amount of people in my community kept livestock as pets! i’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, parrots, pigs, and chickens since i was 13 years old. im stage/photo a hair/makeup artist by trade when im not working towards my teaching degree. i love taking long walks, and having a buddy who is thrilled to be outside with me is the best.

Animals aren’t like people! they communicate differently, so taking my time and looking for visual feedback on comfort is a priority. i work with animals of any temperament. i believe communication with the family is important in understanding how to make your fluffy (or not) family member feel most comfortable while you’re away.
Ratings and reviews
Shepherd took great care of our anxious dog Zoey while we were out. She was happy and calm when we came back and it was clear that they were friends. We would definitely have Shepherd back to stay with Zoey.
Shep took great care of my husky and two cats while I was away for a few days. Really appreciate the help with my fur babies. Thank you!

Schedule
I’m in school from 10AM into the afternoon 4 days a week, but have plenty of time off fridays and on the weekends. i also only do a half day on tuesdays and thursdays! i like getting up early, it makes me feel productive!
