I would call myself an obsessed animal lover and prefer their company to any other. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for the past 20 years. I have a weakness for rescuing and neutering strays. I keep dog and cat food in my vehicle at all times in case of unexpected rescue. I also have a weakness for labeled aggressive breeds. I feel they’re given a bad reputation and compare to large muscular drooling teddy bears

Shena is amazing! She is always on time, GREAT with our cats, and always takes the time to play with them and send us pictures and videos. We consistently rehire her because she is trustworthy!
Shena was great with Trebek! She made sure he got a lot of exercise and did everything she could to make him comfortable.
Fantastic experience all the way around. Shena is very caring and detail oriented. She ensured she had a comprehensive understanding of our dog’s care routine and suggested ways to make him comfortable. He was happy and healthy when I picked him up. Best Rover stay ever.
Another amazing Rover experience. Shena was above and beyond amazing! Detailed messages everyday about how Luke was doing, their walks, his behavior and mental state. It was a longer than usual stay for Luke, so we were worried how he would do. Couldn't be happier with how Shena and her husband cared for him as of he were their own. Would definitely go back if Shena would have us!!
Our dog Luna had the best stay! We got photos, videos and updates everyday. We were nervous since this was our first time leaving her with someone we did not know, but it turned out to be the best decision. Shena and her husband did an amazing job taking care of our Luna. Whenever we need to go away again we will definitely be leaving Luna with them. Cannot recommend them enough!
Shena took superb care of Abby. Communication was exceptional. Takes great care and detail in learning about your pet and activities.

Schedule
I’m available on the weekends. And during major holidays for a second home away from home or a good stroll. I’m also a professional litter scooper.

I have a fenced in yard. I’m able to administer oral medication if needed. Established at two veterinary hospitals in Virginia and Maryland. I also keep a animal safe and friendly home.

I love the outdoors and being outside. I’m a very active person and walk 4 miles a day to keep myself healthy around my community. Good company during my walks is always welcomed
