Regardless of the animals I’m working with, dogs, cats, or even horses, my goal is always the same, to make sure every creature in my care feels safe and deeply loved. Caring for pets isn't just a job for me, it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. I spend my free time volunteering at a local horse rescue, which has taught me so much about patience and reading the subtle body language of large, sensitive animals. Having been a foster parent for many years, I know exactly what it’s like to welcome a pet who might be a little nervous or unsure. I have a soft spot for rescues and know how to provide the extra TLC they need to feel at home. I’m currently building my professional career in pet care and training, which means I bring an extra layer of expertise to every visit I am Pet CPR & First Aid Certified so your pet’s safety is my #1 priority. I’m trained to act quickly and calmly in any situation. I’m also enrolled in the Fear Free pet sitter certification program. I believe in "Fear Free" care, meaning I focus on reducing stress and anxiety. I use gentle techniques to ensure your pet stays happy and relaxed while you’re away. As a current student in a professional dog training program, I’ve learned to use positive reinforcement to keep your pup’s mind sharp and their tail wagging! While your pets are in my care, they will receive my full attention, plenty of belly rubs, and a calm, structured environment. I treat every pet like they are my own with all the love in the world!🐾

I will always ask for feeding schedules, likes and dislikes or overall personality traits. I never scratch or touch at first without the pet’s showing that they are ok with being touched. I like to give my pets all my attention and try to provide them with plenty of play and enrichment.

Shemoy did a fabulous job taking care of our two high maintenance dogs. She didn’t seem phased at all by their med schedule and their anxiety issues. Super impressed
Shemoy is so sweet and took really good care of our two dogs in challenging conditions. We left right after the snow and ice storm and the temperatures stayed below freezing the entire week. She was understanding of the icy conditions on patches of our driveway, deck and yard. We highly recommend her and will hopefully be able to have her again in the future if she's willing!
Shemoy was wonderful! We have had bad experiences with Rover dog sitters in the past, but she made us feel very at ease while watching our dog. She was very responsive and reliable. She even left the sweetest Christmas treats for my dog. You can tell she really cares about animals. I will definitely book with her again.
This was our first time ever using Rover, we usually leave our pets with a trusted family member or friend, and we are beyond impressed with our experience with Shemoy! Shemoy is just the sweetest; she sent several photos, including one holding our cat Alice who never warms up to any strangers! We will definitely be using Shemoy again and highly recommend her to take care of your pets.
Shemoy is our go to house sitter when we go on trips. We have used them several times over the years and they do a great job every time.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available weekdays and weekends as well as overnight. I typically respond within an our more often less depending on if I’m with pets or not as I like to give my undivided attention when I’m with furbabies I don’t know very well as some can be a bit cheeky.
