Pet care experience
Local doggy homestay in Anaheim
We're a married couple that love looking after furry friends. We're the go-to dog sitters for friends and family as we're patient and kind to all our visitors. We have watched all kinds of dogs, however, we have found we can provide the best experience for small to medium canines. We are mindful of the care and attention each of our guests need and thus we only watch one dog at a time, in addition to our pooch Camera. We have boarded senior dogs, with special care and are open to broaden our doggy care repertoire.

We couldn’t have asked for better sitters for our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Lina! She stayed with Jonathan and Shelly for 8 days while we were on holiday, and the entire experience was amazing. They were incredibly kind, easygoing, and clearly experienced with dogs. Their own pup was the perfect companion for Lina, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing she had a buddy to play with while we were away. We got regular updates and adorable photos throughout our trip, which we really appreciated. Lina is a great and easy dog, but even so, I’m super selective about who I trust with her—and I would absolutely book with Jonathan and Shelly again in a heartbeat. In fact, my in-laws are already planning to book them next time! Thank you both so much for taking such good care of our girl. You’re truly wonderful people and exceptional sitters!

Shelly and Jonathan were very nice, attentive, and very flexible. Bentley was well taken care of and came home very happy.
Shelly and Jonathan did a fantastic job with caring for Sutton and making her feel comfortable at their home with their dog Cam. They took her on several walks during the day to get some sunshine and allowed for her to relax next to them in the house while they worked. They made sure that she was safe and comfortable and communicated well throughout the day.
Our Maverick had a great time at Shelly and Johnathan’s. Excellent care in a beautiful home setting. Will definitely book again.

Schedule
We both work from home and have flexible work schedules, which allow us to make sure our pooch (and potentially yours), has ample opportunities for feedings and potty breaks. We typically start and end our days with a walk, leaving the day for playtime with our furry friends.

Safety, trust & environment
Our dog Camera has a consistent daily schedule, which usually guides our day to day activities. Since we both work from home, we are in close proximity our fur visitors at all times. If your pooch has a schedule, we will gladly follow their routine to alleviate doggy (and owner) stress and worry. Our house has a backyard with lush green grass to run and play on and a fence to set a boundary. We also have a small crate and a play-pin if needed.
Pets
A typical day
Every day starts with a walk in the neighborhood, then followed by breakfast. Since we have a puppy, she usually sleeps until lunch, with a few breaks to play in between. We have outside breaks for lunch and mid afternoon "recess" outside in the backyard. We usually wrap up the day with an evening walk around the block. Furry friends have ample opportunities for fetch (indoor/outdoor), to catch a wiff of the zoomies and for pets and cuddles.
