As long as the children do not try to pin him down or get in his face while holding his head. He is wonderful with my grandson and my niece. But they are well mannered and have been raised to understand how to approach and interact with dogs. Not everyone is as responsible with their children's education.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
He is protective but has no back up in his initial growl. He is more of a regulator. When the pups get rowdy, he sweeps in to separate them and then has to go take a nap. He is a retired, certified, and trained service dog who has arthritis.
  • Gets along with cats: No
We are guessing here. We have never had him near cats.
