Hi there! I'm Shelley, and I've been surrounded by animals my whole life. At 13, I started my first job at a veterinary hospital, assisting doctors and caring for overnight patients. I worked there for 5 years, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Growing up with horses, cats, bunnies, hamsters, and even helping my parents breed beagles, animals have always been a big part of my world. I followed in my sister's footsteps and began horseback riding as a toddler, competing in Western events until graduating high school. Over the years, I've owned several dogs, including a Pomeranian, Cockapoo, Mini-American Eskimo, and two Boston Terriers, and I dream of adding a Maltese to the mix! I'm an active person and love caring for animals. In my neighborhood, I’ve helped many pet parents with dog sitting and check-ins while they’re out of town. Additionally, I volunteer at a horse camp, where I help children experience the emotional benefits of being around animals. I’d be honored to care for your furry family members, providing them with the same love and attention that I give my own pets!

Shelley has owned dogs since she was 1 year old. Her parents raise beagles for a couple years. Shelley worked as a veterinarian assistant for 2 years while in high school and after. She is a dog lover and perfect for this kind of work.

As a mother, I understand the importance of flexibility. I am available every day of the week, including evenings, for pet check-ins, dog walking, and other pet care needs. I can easily adjust my schedule around my daughter's school drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring that your pet receives the attention and care they need. I have plenty of availability to look after your pet when you need me most. Rest assured, your pet will always have my full attention and care during our time together!
