I’ve been surrounded by and caring for animals my entire life—from dogs and cats to farm animals and wildlife—I’ve developed a deep, intuitive connection with them, treating each one with attentive, loving care, respect (and yes, I spoil them all). Caring for dogs and cats comes naturally to me. I am a nurse, not a veterinarian. However, I do have extensive experience with a wide variety of animals. I am very comfortable with sick and/or injured pets. Medication administration, wound care and first aid are all things I feel confident with, for an extra fee.

I have two very spoiled dogs of my own, so I know the importance of happy pets and peace of mind. I treat every animal like they’re part of my family—with patience, respect, lots of love, and maybe a few extra treats (because they deserve it).

Shelley is one of the biggest animal lovers I know. Whenever I go out of town, my dogs stay with her, and I never have to worry because I know they're in the best hands. She makes sure they're walked every day, get plenty of playtime, and are well-fed and loved. Shelley has a natural connection with animals. They seem to instinctively trust her, and it's amazing how well they respond to her and follow her direction. It's obvious that caring for animals isn't just something she does—it's who she is. I wholeheartedly recommend Shelley to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets with the same love, patience, and attention they would give their own.
I have known Shelley for 10+ years and when I tell you she loves animals, she LOVES animals! Not only is she wonderful with dogs but I have seen her when she was taking care of her farm animals as well with chickens, ducks, goats, cats and dogs. I know she has babysat our other friend's dog when they go out of town, so she is a trusted person to be around your dog. I highly recommend Shelley to walk your dog with confidence and her love and responsibility with any pet.

Schedule
I’m available Saturday through Monday to provide loving in-home care, including dog walks and check-ins for your cats and dogs. I’ll make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and care they deserve while you’re away.
