I am a dog owner and lover of all pets. I grew up with Brittany Spaniels and road horses for over 10 years. Now I have a Border Collie mix named Harper, who when younger was very high energy, a counter surfer, and had separation anxiety. She is now a senior dog with health conditions. I can care for a variety of pets, with different personality traits and needs. My goal is to keep to their routines, so that their care with me is as close to the care they would recieve from you. For boarding: I live in a house with a big, fenced-in backyard and plenty of space for your pup. He/she will have a great time playing outside and will come home happy and tired. I will provide a daily walk, or a run if your dog is used to running. I prefer dogs who will be okay at home for a couple of hours. Though I work from home, I do need to leave my house occasionally. I never leave my dog and a Rover dog out together while I am gone, because it is not safe. I prefer crate-trained dogs, but am willing to accept dogs who would be okay hanging out in a separate bedroom from my dog while I am gone. My house has wooden stairs up to the bedroom, which are not the best for dogs with mobility issues or trouble climbing stairs.

Shelley was so great with our two kitties! They’re still learning to get along but Shelley was fantastic at making sure they were both taken care of and got plenty of attention. She went above and beyond to make sure they had a good time while we were away and kept the house nice and tidy. Having someone like Shelley ensured we were able to fully enjoy our vacation.
Shelley did an amazing job with our pets! She was very attentive (even with our shy kitty), cleaned up an accident my dog had in the house, and even took time to clean our cat’s wet food bowls. It’s such a relief to be able to go away and know that our pets are in good hands and being taken care of. I would have her back any time!

Schedule
I work full time from home, except on Thursdays, so will be with your pet most of the time. I'm available evenings for drop-ins visits or walks.

For drop-ins or walks, I will provide loving care for your pet in your own home and follow your care instructions. For boarding, your dog will be part of the family.

A typical day
Wake up around 7 and breakfast. Supervised backyard time during the day and at least one walk. Dinner and belly rubs in the evening. Schedule is adaptable based on your pet's needs.
