Dog lover who will pamper your pup
I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and as an adult have always been around dogs.I have been a volunteer foster with animal rescue Lucky Dog. My neighbor calls me the dog whisperer :) I haven't ever committed to my own dog because of my work schedule as I felt it would keep me away all day and would not be fair to my dog. I am also happy to walk dogs if that's what you need. I've been a marketing professional my entire life, but am transitioning and currently taking time off and getting my masters in counseling, and since I love dogs, I thought this would be great to earn money and spend time with dogs!

I used Shelley for the first time to watch my dog over the long holiday weekend and couldn't be happier. She took excellent care of my dog and gave him lot of love and attention. Even during dreadful, rainy days, they went on long walks. She was very communicative and shared many photos. He came home healthy and happy! I'll definitely be asking Shelley to watch him again.
Shelley was AMAZING with my dog during his stay! He has separation anxiety and she took wonderful care of him to minimize his stress and help him relax. She sent regular photos and videos that made clear how quickly he settled in and how well she took care of him. She followed all my instructions very well and helped put my mind at ease by doing a quick meet and greet before his stay. Would highly recommend her to anyone!
Shelley is great! Very responsive, very welcoming to our pup, and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I'm a working professional of close to 30 years who has turned graduate student, so I have plenty of time to play with your dog and ensure lots of walks :) I generally have a free schedule, am in grad school part time and thought I'd do this part time work with Rover because I love dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 620 square foot co-op unit in a very dog friendly building. I live close to the Zoo so there are beautiful walks on Rockcreek, so if your dogs are okay with that, would love to walk them there, but it can scare some dogs, so otherwise, I would just walk them around the neighborhood.
A typical day
I am very engaged with your dog and like to pamper them, I can't help it as it's my personality :) I will only take one dog at a time so they are comfortable.
