Shelley does a wonderful job watching my boys! She makes sure all their needs are taken care of, gives them lots of love, and keeps everything neat and tidy! Every time I go out of town Shelley is my go to person to watch my cats.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This woman is horrible. She caused over $215 of damage in my place in two dropin visits. She called me part way through her first visit chewing me out because one litter robot was stuck and she couldn’t follow very basic instructions or think critically to address the issue. She was extremely rude and hung up on me. Then she used a dustpan meant for food surfaces, and clearly marked as such, to scoop litter out of an automatic litter box. And she didn’t even tell me that! She was just going to let me come back and continue using this dust pan on my kitchen counter after she covered it in shit. She clearly didn’t understand that the bags in the trays of the litter robot only need to be changed after they’ve filled up over the course of a couple days; she was panicking and saying stuff like “that’s just one day of litter???” She didn’t retain any of the information I told her when she came over for the meet and greet, and seems confused by the extremely clear instructions I left taped to the walls all around my apartment. Then, when she was leaving, something got caught in the door. Instead of trying to figure out what it was like a normal person with even the most basic of problem solving skills, she slammed the door closed as hard as she could and forced the deadbolt closed. My front door was severely bowing. When a neighbor came by the next day, she couldn’t get the door open. I had to call emergency maintenance, and it took them several hours to get the door open. They almost needed to break the whole thing down because she couldn’t contain her temper. The second time she visited, she wasted more of my trash bags by taking the litter bags out super early again. Then she had the audacity to tell me that it didn’t matter because they’re cheap. Then, when she went to feed one of my cats in the kitchen, she AGAIN forgot all about the most basic instructions and didn’t even try to problem solve, she went straight to force and pried open my cat’s smart feeder and BROKE IT. That caused over $200 of damage and made it so my cat don’t have access to her food for all of Wednesday through Saturday when I returned. All she had to do was press a single button to open it. And she had already done that multiple times before! She just can’t retain any information in her head and doesn’t problem solve. And after breaking that expensive feeder, she didn’t even give that cat the rest of her food for that day. My cat was SO HUNGRY because of Shelley. When I got home, I found one of my cats noticeably limping, one with blood all over her cheek from an injury, and one covered in poop that had clearly been there a long time. She refused to reimburse me for the extensive damages she caused. She tried to shame me for living in poverty and being stuck in a shitty apartment, like it’s my fault. I hired Shelley because I needed reliable help so I could go see my family for the first time in several years. It was ann extremely risky financial choice because that was the entirety of my savings. Instead, I got more stress than ever, expensive damage to my apartment, cats uncared for, and someone who looks down on people less well off and doesn’t try to hide that. I hope to never see or hear from her again. And I hope no one here does either.
